Seti@home ProjectSeti@Home is an ambitious project to search for extraterrestrial life by utilizing millions of computers around the world, through a small screensaver that analyses tiny packets of data during the computers idle periods. Although no signals have been found to date, the project has been successful in it's distributed processing abilities.
